This one sent a shiver up my spine!! This is the flash supressor from one of the two machine guns on the Fokker. How many bullets have passed through this simple looking piece of metal....and killed allied airmen?

Great photos Razz. Should have made the effort to come down and tag along. Looks like the weather was a bit better than when we went to the Avalon Airshow in February. Don't know whether or not you are aware of it, but The Australian War Memorial here in Canberra has the Red Baron's flying boots that he was wearing when he was shot down, as well as the actual joystick from the plane on display in the main Aircraft Hall.
