Events Program
Ansett Virtual are proud to be affiliates of the VATSIM network. Our pilots are welcome to fly on the VATSIM network under the Ansett Virtual Flag. If you have any questions regarding online flight, be it beginner or advanced, do not hesitate to leave a post in the forums for a response from one of our experienced team members.

At Ansett Virtual we have a keen team of Events Co-ordinators who often program Fly-ins and Special Events for our Members, and guests from other VAs from time to time. These events are not the only events occuring at any given time in the World of Flight Simulation. Below are the events currently scheduled for both Ansett Virtual and VATSIM.
Ansett Virtual Events-AN1001 A380 Delivery Event
Part 2
Ansett currently has a new Airbus A380 sitting at Darwin waiting for you to bring home. The flights will consist of 6 legs across Australia. The route for this flight is Part 1: Toulouse-Blagnac (LFBO) - Athens (LGAV) - Kuwait (OKBK) - Mumbai (VABB) - Colombo (VCBI) - Jakarta (WIII) - Darwin (YPDN). Part 2: Darwin (YPDN) - Carins (YBCS) - Adelaide (YPAD) - Brisbane (YBBN) - Perth (YPPH) - Sydney (YSSY) - Melbourne (YMML). This is part two of the event.
TASK
To fly Ansett's new A380 on the second part of its delivery flight from Darwin to Melbourne. You have one Month to complete this task, upon completion of each flight you will receive x2 hours, these hours and flight's count towards captain Status, if you choose to apply for promotion. Pilots can use the route for each flight given on this page but please feel free to change the route for one that you feels suits that leg better. You are allowed to fly this event regardless of your current CAT rating.

Conditions
**As per the Ansett events policy, all Ansett VA event flights must be recorded using either FSACARS, VATAWARE or FSPASSENGERS and filed as EVENT
**Flights can be off line or online
**Any flight on line may use VATAWARE as a recording device, however it is the Pilot in commands responsibility to ensure VATAWARE is working on the date of flight and to provide Ansett Virtual with a direct link to the flight in the reports filed.
**Routes shown are only guide routes you are free to create your own route.
